Survey Description
During the summer of 1983, a till sampling survey was conducted in the Orford township area, Quebec. The area covers 1053 km 2. A total of 43 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 24.5 km 2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Ag, As, Ba, Cr, Mo, Sn, Hg, Au, Pt (atomic absorption), U (fluorimetry) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 85-65, Department of Energy and Resources, 1986.

Covers NTS 31H/7 (Granby), /8 (Mont Orford). The Orford township is situated in the Estrie region. It includes the cities of Eastman, Magog and Stukley-Sud. It is bounded by latitudes 45°15' and 45°30' and longitudes 72° and 72°30'.
