Survey Description
In 1983, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac aux Araignées area, Québec. The area covers 200 km 2. A total of 75 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 2.7 km 2. Samples were analyzed for Cu, Pb, Zn Ni, Co, Mn, Bi, Ag, As, Au, Fe, U and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File MB 84-22, Department of Energy and Resources, 1984.

Covers part of NTS 21E/7 (Wobrun), /10 (Lac-Mégantic). The Lac aux Araignées area is situated in the Estrie region. Its center is located 15 km southeast of Lac Mégantic. It is bounded by latitudes 45°23' and 45°32' and longitudes 71°36' and 71°56'.
