Survey Description
During the fall of 1980, a soil sampling survey was conducted in a group of claims staked in 1980, on the Lac Fabiola property. The area covers 8 km 2. A total of 1300 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.006 km 2. Samples were collected from horizon A 1, except in marshy areas where horizon A 0 were taken. These samples were analysed for Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo, Ag, Li (atomic absorption), As (colorimetry) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File GM-39884, Department of Energy and Resources, 1983.

Covers parts of NTS 32D/10 (Taschereau), /11 (Palmarolle). Lac Fabiola is situated in the Abitibi region. It is located 35 km north of Rouyn-Noranda, in the Poularies township. It is bounded by latitudes 48°34'30" and 48°36' and longitudes 78°57'50" and 79°02'40".
