During the fall of 1978, a soil sampling survey was conducted by the company Jean Descarreaux and Associates, for a group of 34 claims (staked in 1977), on the Lac Fabiola property. The area covers 5 km2. A total of 3936 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 0.001 km2. Samples were collected from horizon A1, except in marshy areas where horizon A0 was taken. These samples were analysed for Cu, Zn, Mn, Mo, As, Li (atomic absorption), U (paper chromatography) and loss on ignition.
The data are published in Open File DP-827, Department of Energy and Resources, 1981. Raw data are published in Open File DP-828.
