Stream sediment sampling survey, NTS 32D/8, Preissac area, Abitibi region, Quebec, 1979.

In 1979, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in Preissac area, Quebec. The area covers 440 km2. A total of 59 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 7.5 km2. These samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Mo, Li, U.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers NTS 32D/8 (La Motte). The Preissac area is situated in the Abitibi region. It includes Preissac township and parts of La Pause, Villemontel, Figuery, La Motte, Malartic and Cadillac townships. It is bounded by latitudes 48°15' and 48°27' and longitudes 78°11' and 78°27'.
