Survey Description
In 1975, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the half west part of Richardson township, Quebec. The area covers 130 km 2. A total of 61 samples were collected at intervals of 500 feet. Samples were analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Ag, Sb, Sn, Mo, Li, Hg, As, Ba and U.
The data are published in Open File DP-342, Department of Natural Resources, 1975. In 1978, a compilation was also published in Open File DP-571.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

Covers NTS 32J/1 (Lac Waconichi). The western half of Richardson township is located in the Nord-du-Québec area. It is situated west of Lac Waconichi and the center is 20 miles north of Chibougamau. It is bounded by latitudes 50°01' and 51°10' and longitudes 74°08' and 74°15'.
