Survey Description


In 1972, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Gaudreault area, Quebec.  The area covers 1500 km 2. A total of 151 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 9.9 km 2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 12M/1 (Lac Arthur), /2 (Lac Ruffin) and 12L/15 (Lac Davy), /16 (Lac Gaudreault). The Lac Gaudreault area is located in Saguenay county, Côte-Nord region. It is bounded by latitudes 50°45' and 51°05' and longitudes 62° and 62°45'.
