Stream sediment sampling survey, NTS 31K/16, Briand-Mitchell area, Pontiac and Gatineau counties, Quebec, 1964.

In the summer of 1964, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Briand-Mitchell region, Quebec. The area covers 712 km2. A total of 217 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 3.3 km2 and analysed for:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers part of NTS 31K/16 (Lac Kellog). The Briand-Mitchell area is bounded by latitudes 46o40' and 47o and longitudes 76o and 76o15'. The southeastern corner is located 32 km north of Maniwaki and the area is located south of Parc La Vérendrye.
