Stream sediment sampling survey, NTS 32D/14 and 32E/3, Clermont township area, Abitibi-West county, Quebec, 1963-1964.

In 1963-1964, a stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Clermont township area, Quebec. The area covers 150 km2. A total of 133 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per km2 and analysed for Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo.
The data are published in geological report RG-138, Department of Natural Resources, 1970. This survey is part of a compilation DV 87-22, published in 1987.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers parts of NTS 32D/14 (La Sarre) and 32E/3 (Villebois). The Clermont township area is bounded by latitudes 48o52' and 49o01' and longitudes 79o05' and 79o18' and separated from the interprovincial Quebec-Ontario boundary to the west by Desmeloizes township. The cities of Rouyn and Noranda are 65 miles from the center of the area.
