Survey Description


A stream sediment sampling survey was conducted in the Lac Sakami area, Quebec.  The area covers 1000 km2.  A total of 179 samples were collected at an average density of 1 sample per 5.6 km2 and analysed:

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 33F/7 (Lac Sakami) north and 33F/10 (Passe Awapakamich) south.  The Lac Sakami area includes parts of the area covered by the Passe Awapakamich sheet and Lac Sakami sheet.  It is bounded by latitudes 53o20' and 53o35' and by longitudes 76o30' and 77o.
