Survey Description
A total of 73 till samples were collected in the Kirkland Lake area, Districts of Cochrane and Timiskaming, Ontario and Quebec between 1978 and 1981. The data are published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report 5553.

Quantities Analysed:
<0.037 mm fraction of till by AAS after HNO 3-HF (total) extraction; by UV-fluorescence for U and XRF for Th.
Geochem Maps Available:
None.
Other Analyses:
Grain size (<2 mm); carbonate (<0.074 mm fraction (Chittick)); heavy mineral concentrate.
