Description du levé


En 1972, des échantillons de sédiments fluviatiles et de sédiments de source ont été recueillis dans les régions des feuilles de carte de Florenceville, Coldstream, Napadogan, Millville et Burtts Corner dans la partie ouest-centrale du Nouveau- Brunswick.  La fraction de -80 mailles a été dosée pour l’uranium par l’Énergie atomique Canada Limitée par l’activation neutronique retardée.  Aucune information n’a été fournie pour d’autres analyses.

En 1988, des échantillons pesant > 15g ont été dosés pour As, Sb, Ba, Au par Chemex Labs Ltd. en utilisant AAS.

Les données sont présentées sur une série de clichés cartographiques du Ministère des ressources naturelles du Nouveau-Brunswick :

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

  • Couvre la moitié est de 21J/5 (Florenceville), la plupart de 21J/6 (Coldstream), la moitié ouest de 21J/7 (Napadogan) et s’étend au sud dans 21J/2 (Burtts Corner) et 21J/3 (Millville) du SNRC dans la partie ouest-centrale du Nouveau-Brunswick.  Il est délimité à l’ouest par la frontière du Maine et du Nouveau-Brunswick.  La rivière Saint-Jean s’étend du nord au sud à travers la partie ouest de la zone d'étude.
