Description du levé


En 1984, des échantillons de sédiments fluviatiles ont été recueillis par Three-D GeoConsultants Ltd. dans la région de Heath Steele au nord du Nouveau-Brunswick.  La fraction de -80 mailles des échantillons a été analysée par absorption atomique par le Ministère des forêts, mines et de l’énergie du Nouveau-Brunswick, en utilisant une digestion d’acide nitrique chaud.

Les données sont présentées sur une série de clichés cartographiques : MP 86-106a to e, MP 86-107a-e, MP 86-108a-e et MP 86-109a-e.

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

  • Couvre la partie est de 21O/8 (California Lake) du SNRC juste à l’ouest dans 21P/5 (Nepisiguit Falls; 1 au nord du Nouveau-Brunswick.  Il est délimité au nord par 47.5° N et à l’ouest par 66.25° W.  L’ancien Heath Steele Mine est situé dans le coin sud-est de la zone d’étude.
