Survey Description


Till samples were collected in 2002 in the Fredericton Junction map area in southwest New Brunswick at a density of 1 sample per 4 km 2.  The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy Open File 2003-13.

Data Description:

Paper report; CD-ROM (ASCII, Excel and PDF formats).

Quantities Analysed:

Samples (fraction not stated) by INAA for 24 elements and by AAS for 20 elements.

Geochem Maps Available:

Colour contour plots showing dispersal of As, Sb, Cu, and Pb.

  • Covers most of NTS 21G/10, the Fredericton Junction map area, southwest New Brunswick.  The study area excludes most of the northeast part of the map sheet.
