Till sampling Survey, NTS 21O/11, 12, 13, 14, northwestern New Brunswick, 1999-2004.

Between 1999 and 2004, a total of 1129 basal till samples were collected in the Kedgwick (21O/11), Gounamitz River (21O/12), States Brook (21O/13) and Menneval (21O/14) map areas, northwestern New Brunswick. The regional samples were collected on roughly a 2 km spacing. The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources Open File 2005-4.
At each site, a 5 kg sample of basal till and approximately 75 pebbles (>1 and <10 cm) from till were collected from hand dug pits 0.5 to 1 m deep.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers NTS 21O/11 Kedgwick) and parts of 21O/12 (Gounamitz River), 13 (States Brook), and 14 (Menneval), northwestern New Brunswick. It is bounded to the northwest by the Restigouche River.
