Survey Description


Approximately 30 till samples were collected in the Sisson Branch Reservoir area, northwest New Brunswick in 1983.  The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources Open File Report 85-3 and Map Plate 87-60.

Data Description:

Paper report.

Quantities Analysed:

<0.002 mm fraction by AAS after digestion for 8 elements and by colorimetric methods for Mo and W.

Geochem Maps Available:

None.

The data have also been published as part of a compilation for NTS 21O, 21N and 22B in NB DNRED Open File OF 2021-2.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:

  • Covers NTS 21O/6, Sisson Branch Reservoir, northwest New Brunswick.  The reservoir lies in the south-central part of the study area, and Highway 17 runs NE-SW in the northwest part of the study area.
