Description du levé
En 2016 et 2018, 405 échantillons de till ont été recueillis dans le centre-ouest de la Terre-Neuve.

Les échantillons (pesant ~1 kg) ont été prélevés de l’horizon de sol BC- ou C- à partir de fosses creusées à la main, d’ostioles de boue, de tranchées de route ou de fossés. Le long des routes, la densité d'échantillonnage était d'un échantillon pour chaque kilomètre linéaire et d'un échantillon tous les 4 km 2 pour l'échantillonnage assisté par hélicoptère.

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

Couvre parties de 12A/05 (Puddle Pond), 12A/11 (Star Lake) du SNRC, des petites parties de 12A/04 (King George IV Lake), 12A/06 (Victoria Lake), 12A/12 (Little Grand Lake), 12A/14 (Rainy Lake) et une très petite partie de 12A/13 (Corner Brook) dans le centre-ouest de la Terre-Neuve. Le centre de la zone d’étude est situé à environ 85 km à l’est de la ville de Stephenville et 57 km au sud-est de Corner Brook. Il est situé juste au nord-ouest de Red Indian Lake et Victoria Lake, à environ 13 km au sud-ouest de Buchans.
