Description du levé
En 2007 et 2008, des échantillons de till ont été recueillis dans la région de Red Indian Lake dans la partie ouest-centrale de la Terre-Neuve. Au total, 1146 échantillons et 64 réplicats de terrain ont été recueillis.
Les échantillons provenaient de l'horizon C- ou BC- dans des fosses creusées à la main (profondeur moyenne de 45 cm) et des tranchées de route (profondeur moyenne de 40 à 100 cm). La densité d’échantillonnage était un échantillon par 1 km 2 dans les zones de bon accès et un échantillon par 4 km 2 où le soutien par hélicoptère était nécessaire.
Les données sont publiées dans le rapport « Open File 12A/1449 » de Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources.
Les donnés sont également publiées dans le rapport « Open File 12A/1562 » avec des données d’échantillons prélevés dans la région de Red Indian Lake Basin en 2009-2012.
Des échantillons de ce levé ont été analysés de nouveau pour le fluorure et les données sont publiées dans une compilation (« Open File NFLD/3344 ») avec les échantillons prélevés dans toute la province entre 1985 et 2017.

L'étendue géographique du levé est définie par les polygones suivants:

Couvre la plupart de 12A/6 (Victoria Lake), 12A/7 (Snowshoe Pond), 12A/10 (Lake Ambrose) du SNRC et des parties de 12A/11 (Star Lake), 12A/15 (Buchans) et 12A/16 (Badger) dans la région de Red Indian Lake, dans la partie ouest-centrale de la Terre-Neuve. Il est délimité ou nord-ouest par Red Indian Lake et au sud-est par Meelpaeg Reservoir. Le centre de la zone d’étude est situé à environ 35 km au sud de la ville de Buchans.
