Survey Description

A total of 55 B-horizon soil samples (~2 kg) were collected from two transects over the Thorne gold zone, in the Snow Lake area, west-central Manitoba.  Samples were collected at 25 foot intervals.  No sampling year was given.

In addition, 43 B-horizon soil samples were collected from a baseline at 50 and 100 foot intervals from a depth of between 10 and 20 cm to serve as an exploration sample suite.

Samples were analyzed by ICP-MS following two selective digestions: Enzyme Leach SM and Mobile Metal Ions (MMI ®).

The data are published in Manitoba, Industry, Trade and Mines Exploration Report EX2003-1.
