Lithogeochemical survey, NTS 64C/14, 15, Lynn Lake area, Manitoa, 1982.
(requires an Internet connection)
From June to August 1982, 191 rock samples were collected from the Lynn Lake Rhyolitic Complex (LLRC) greenstone belt, Manitoba. Sample spacing was a function of outcrop availability rather than a predetermined reference grid. The presence of extensive tailings dumps over much of the eastern portion of the LLRC and areas of interest restricted sample collection.
The data are published in Manitoba Energy and Mines Open File Report OF 87-6.

The geographic extent of the survey is defined by the following polygons:
Covers parts of NTS 64C/14 (Lynn Lake) and /15 (Cockeram Lake) in the area of the Lynn Lake rhyolitic complex, northern Manitoba. It is bounded to the east by Eldon Lake and to the southwest by Frances Lake. Highways 396 and 399 run through the study area. The Lynn Lake tailings pond is located in the northern part of the study area.
