ODM HMC separation of disaggregated bedrock samples



Overburden Drilling Management HMC separation of disaggregated bedrock samples.  The < 2mm size fraction is separated by sieving and heavy liquid separation.

General Methodology:

Standard ODM HMC procedure for bedrock samples that have been disaggregated by EPD.  It is identical to the normal procedure except that an extra size fraction (0.18mm to 0.25 mm) is produced.

2 < 0.18 mm fraction, sieved from <2 mm fraction, prior to heavy liquid separation.  The < 0.18 mm size fraction may be subjected to heavy liquid separation separately from the 0.18-2.00 mm size fraction.
