General Methodology:

Tin was determined as follows: A 200 mg sample is heated with NH4I; the sublimed SnI4 is dissolved in 1% tartaric acid and the tin is determined by hydride generation - atomic absorption spectrometry.  Measurements are made at the 286.3 nm line using an air-hydrogen flame.
