OGS Geoscience Laboratories, suite FEO-ION, ferrous iron

OGS Geoscience Laboratories: Samples are dissolved in an aggressive, non-oxidising acidic mix.  The solubilized ferrous iron is quantified by potentiometric titration with standardized permanganate.  Samples rich in Mn are not suitable for this method.
