GSC electron microprobe (17 oxides) (#3)

GSC electron microprobe

General Methodology:

Geological Survey of Canada electron microprobe analysis. Samples are analysed on Cameca SX-50 microprobe fitted with 4 wavelength-dispersive spectrometers for major and minor element oxides. Raw data is processed using the Cameca PAP program (Pouchou and Pichoir, 1984). Microprobe data were sorted and classified according to chemical composition with threshold values being presented in GSC Open File 4670.
