OGS electron microprobe

General Methodology:

Ontario geological Survey electron microprobe analysis. Samples are analysed on Cameca SX-50 microprobe fitted with 3 wavelength-dispersive spectrometers for major and minor element s. Raw data is processed using the Cameca PAP program (Pouchou and Pichoir, 1984). Microprobe data were sorted and classified according to chemical composition with threshold values being presented in GSC Open File 3007.
