GSC/Canadian Museum of Nature electron microprobe analysis



Scanning electron microprobe analysis of candidate indicator mineral grains. Analysis is for 17 major and minor element oxides.

General Methodology:

Mineral analyses were performed at the GSC electron microprobe lab and the Canadian Museum of Nature electron laboratory. The samples were analysed for SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, Cr2O3, V2O3, FeO, MnO, NiO, MgO, CaO, Nb2O5, ZnO, SO3, As2O3, CoO, K2O, Na2O.
