Metamorphic and magmatic sulphide indicator mineral grain counts.  The grains identified are diopside, chalcopyrite and gahnite.

General Methodology:

Overburden Drilling Management indicator mineral counts. Minerals are preconcentrated from bulk samples with respect to density and magnetism, then picked for grains indicating various sources, including:

  • KIM:  kimberlite indicator minerals
  • MMSIM:  metamorphosed or magmatic massive sulphide indicator minerals
  • PCIM:  porphyry copper indicator minerals
