Minor and trace element contents of well waters, Carboniferous Basin, Eastern Canada, by W. Dyck, E.W. Garrison, H.O. Godoi and G.S. Wells.

The main body of the report consists of 21 element maps and sample site location map. The maps consist of posted element values for up to 1721 well sites which contoured highs on a base showing the main geographic and geological features. The maps are: Depth, U, Rn, He, F, CH 4, N, Cu, Pb, Mn, Fe, conductivity, K, Ca, Cl, SO 4, NO 3, O 2, Eh, pH and alkalinity.

The report also contains a general description of the physiography and geology of the Carboniferous Basin of the Maritimes, field and analytical methods used to obtain the well water data, and various statistical parameters of the data, mostly in tabular form, that were used to produce the maps.

The file will be available for inspection from 1:00 p.m. E.D.T. May 31, 1976 (and equivalent local times) at the libraries of the Geological Survey of Canada in Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary and Dartmouth, and at the Prince Edward Island Department of Industry and Commerce, Charlottetown.

White prints will be available for sale at the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources, Fredericton, and the Nova Scotia Department of Mines, Halifax.
