Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan Geophysical Series No. 35672G (parts of NTS 72F, G, K, J)

Reconnaissance radioactivity data obtained with the Geological Suvey of Canada high sensitivity airborne gamma-ray spectrometer system during the summer of 1976 are being released for an area in southwestern Saskatchewan over the Cypress Hills. The release comprises seven contour maps at a scale of 1:250 000, showing total count, equivalent uranium, equivalent thorium and potassium concentrations, and eU/eTh, eU/K, eTh/K ratios. This release also includes profiles, plotted at a scale of 1:500 000, showing the seven radioactivity parameters for each flight line.

The release will be available for inspection in microfiche form only from 1:00 p.m. E.S.T. December 21, 1977 (and equivalent local times) at the libraries of the Geological Suvey of Canada and the Public Service Centre, Ministry of Natural Resources, Room 6404, Whitney Block, Queen’s Park, Toronto, Ontario.

Microfiche copies of the release will be available for purchase from the Geological Survey of Canada, Ottawa office. White print copies may be purchased from Terra Surveys Limited, 2060 Walkley Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 3P5.
