Project Description

The central section of the Melville Peninsula was sampled, with the exception of a small area around the Ajaqutalik River, spanning parts of map sheets 46O, 47A and 47B, where there were no suitable lakes.  The total survey area was 29 800 km 2.  The data are published in Geological Survey of Canada Open Files 521 and 522.
