Project France-Quebec, Gaspe and Beauce regions, 1975.

Project Description

In 1975, a sub-agreement France-Quebec originally included a comparative methodologically study of geochemical results obtained by the analysis of different types of sampling (stream sediment, heavy minerals), collected in the same area (Gaspésie).

The goal of this program was not completely fulfilled because scheduled samplings could not be implemented within the framework of the Department teams.

Instead, heavy mineral samplings were done in two distinct areas: Beauce and Gaspésie.
