Central Saskatchewan till sampling survey carried out in 1986
Till sampling and surficial mapping were carried out in 1986 in the Sulphide-Hebden Lakes area of central Saskatchewan. The area was chosen because of the presence of known gold showings and its complex Quaternary geology. The objective of the project was to provide a regional framework of the surficial sediments and till geochemistry, to set up the local stratigraphy of the Quaternary deposits and to identify the most useful sampling media and drift prospecting techniques to aid mineral exploration in the area. The data are published in Saskatchewan Research Council Report R-842-4-E-87.
