Project Description
This project examines the properties, distribution and relationships of various geological materials in Essex County, southwestern Ontario. Surficial geologic mapping of the area began in 1988 and was completed in 1989. Field methods involve describing, sampling and comparing materials observed in natural and man-made exposures, soil probing and sonic drilling. Data published in Ontario Geological Survey Open File Report 5886.
