Analytical Package Description

Laboratory: Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS-Géoressources), Sainte-Foy, Quebec

Samples were analysed for 12 trace elements by X-ray fluorescence (XRF).  The samples were analysed for mercury (Hg) content twice, using atomic fluorescence spectroscopy (AFS) after digestion in either strong (sulphuric + nitric) or weak (hydrochloric) acids. Analyses were performed by laboratories at the Quebec Geoscience Centre (QCG).
