The regional lake survey for north central Labrador (NTS 13M and the north half of 13L) was conducted during the summer of 1978.

This report presents analytical and statistical data for 12 elements in lake sediments from XX XX sample sites, collected at an average density of one sample per 13 km². Loss-on-ignition in sediments, and uranium, fluoride, and pH values in waters from these sites are included in this report.

Acknowledgements:

The reconnaissance surveys were undertaken by the Geological Survey of Canada in conjunction with the Newfoundland Department of Mines and Energy under the terms of the Canada - Newfoundland Agreement on a Uranium Reconnaissance Program (1976 - 1982). The provincial funding was financed through the Canada - Newfoundland Development Subsidiary Agreement (1976 - 1982).
