Acme four-acid digestion : Groups 1E and 1T

The prepared sample is digested to complete dryness with an acid solution of (2:2:1:1) H 20-HF-HClO 4-HNO 3.  50% HCl is added to the residue and heated using a mixing hot block.  After cooling, the solutions are transferred to test-tubes and brought to volume using dilute HCl.
