4 acid (hydrochloric (HCl), nitric (HNO 3), perchloric (HClO 4), hydrofluoric (HF)) digestion.  A “near-total” digestion, but will still not dissolve very resistate phases like chromite (FeCr 2O 4), barite (BaSO 4), monazite ((Ce,La,Pr,Nd,Th,Y)PO 4), sphene (CaTiSiO 5), xenotime (YPO 4), rutile (TiO 2), etc.
