Silica blank

The material is a weathered Silurian-Devonian granite (grus) of the South Nepisiguit River Plutonic Suite, collected approximately 66 km west of Bathurst, New Brunswick.  HMCs are primarily hornblende, with trace amounts of garnet, epidote, limonite (goethite), titanite (leucoxene), pyrite and very raare gold grains.
