Bundle Description

10 till samples from Drybones Bay (NTS 85I) were processed by Overburden Drilling Management, Ottawa for heavy mineral concentrates and gold grain picking. Samples were collected in 2000 and processed in 2001. Gold grains were separated and classified according to shape. The <1 mm fraction was processed for heavy mineral concentrates. The 0.25-0.5 mm fraction of heavy mineral concentrates was picked for kimberlite indicator minerals (KIM) and metamorphosed massive sulphide indicator minerals (MMSIM).

Grain separation and gold data are published in GSC Open File 4299 and GAC Special Publication No. 3, 2006, p. 301-324.
