Bundle Description

3 kimberlite samples collected in 2001 from the Triple B and Seed Kimberlite area were sent to Overburden Drilling Management, Ottawa, Ontario; processed for heavy mineral concentrates (HMC) and sorted. The < 1 mm sieved fraction was separated using the table shaker and methylene iodide (S.G.3.2); the 1-2 mm fraction is separated only using methylene iodide (S.G. 3.2). Kimberlites were crushed before processing and the sieved and the < 0.180 mm fraction was removed.  No gold grains were counted.

Kimberlite samples are crushed and soaked prior to sieving and sorting. The < 0.180 mm fraction is sieved from the bulk and discarded. No gold grains are counted.
