Bundle Description

25 samples from NTS sheet 86H (Point Lake) were submitted to Overburden Drilling Management, to be re-picked for MMSIMs (metamorphosed or magmatic sulphide indicator minerals).  These samples had been picked by I and M Morrison in the 1990s for KIMs.  The primary motivation for the re-picking was to provide a regional context in which to interpret the data from a detailed study around the Izok Lake Zn-Cu-Pb-Ag VMS deposit.

The various <2mm size fractions that had been prepared for the original KIM picking were re-combined, and then separated according to the standard ODM procedures.

The data are published in GSC Open File 7029.
