Bundle Description

Geochemical results of till samples surveyed in the Riley Brook region of New Brunswick are presented. This area of New Brunswick corresponds to NTS map sheet 21 O/3.

The basal till fractions (< 63 micron) were analysed for 8 trace elements using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS).  The samples were analysed for Mo and W using colorimetry.  The analyses were performed by New Brunswick DNRE Geochemical Laboratory.

The analytical data were obtained from Mike Parkhill in 2005 (in an MS Excel spreadsheet).

The geochemical results of this survey were reported by A.G. Pronk and M. A. Parkhill, NBDNRE.

The data are published in New Brunswick Department of Forests, Mines and Energy Geological Notes Series P.M. 89-71.

Till samples were dry sieved using an 8 inch sieve shaker.  The <63 µm fraction was analysed for 8 trace elements using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).  Colorimetry analysis was performed on the samples for Mo and W.  The analyses were performed by New Brunswick DNRE Geochemical Laboratory.
